 (Reading in Isaiah 42, KJV 1611, during a water baptism.)

Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out;

he that spread forth the Earth, and that which cometh out of it;

he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee

for a covenant of the people, for a Light of the gentiles; to open the blind eyes,

to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

I am the Lord, that is my name;

and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare:

before they spring forth I tell you of them.

We are the choice of God. We are the choice of God.

God made sure we belong to Him and that we are a Light before each woman and man.

(Reading in Psalm 145.)

I will extol thee, my God, O King; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

(Reading in Psalm 145.)

The Lord preserveth all them that love him : but all the wicked will he destroy.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

(God’s prophecy.)

The Spirit of the Lord is on you, yes, my young lady this afternoon, so that the Lord guides you.

He formed you with the Word today. It is the Word that made you today his Creation.

Yes, during the older days, yes, it was because of the promise,

but today the Word, oh yes, is what bonds you to God through Jesus-Christ, his Gospel;

but you will walk as a testimony, you will walk with a zeal,

you will be zealous to say to each man and woman: “This is the road.

This is the road, walk in it! This is the road: holiness!”
