(Reading in Psalms 37, during a water baptism.)
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity;
for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
(Words of exhortation.)
You will remember this for the rest of your life to not irritate yourself against the wicked people.
(Reading in Proverbs 10.)
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
Winds will push on you strongly, storms will push on you strongly, yes, they will blow, yes, against your soul,
against the salvation of your soul, against the salvation of your spirit, against the baptism you are receiving today,
against the baptism of God, the Father of Jesus-Christ, against the death of Jesus-Christ;
but remember the words you heard today, the words you will read in the word of God, the Bible.
These words are what is making you a disciple and they will keep you being a disciple of Jesus-Christ.
By walking according to his Word, you will always be, yes, under the safety of God,
in the hand of God and nobody can enrapture you from his hand.
Walk according to the Word, walk according to the Word, walk according to the Word;
for the testimony of the just people is around you in your household in the name of Jésus-Christ. ♦
