(Reading Proverbs 2, KJV 1611, during a water baptism.)
My Son,
If thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
This is now the Word of God, oh, that calls us to cry for understanding
and the Lord, thy God, saw you, have seen you, here and there,
in the highways and byways, in different areas,
in different countries and, cities and, villages.
Oh yes, I saw thy heart looking,
because you where hungry to retain the knowledge of the Lord.
And today I even gave you a much greater knowledge,
a greater knowledge, a greater knowledge in this hour.
This day, this minute, this very hour
is an hour that the Lord, God, has chosen to bless you, yes,
with what you thirst for,
with what you thirst for,
with what you thirst for. ♦
